Why are you passionate about supporting fellow teachers?
I love helping teachers to learn how to engage and get students excited to learn. I love helping with guiding teachers on classroom management as well as techniques to get the most student engagement and participation. I love that NNPS gives me the ability to grow as a leader and to share my passions and expertise with my colleagues.
What word best describes you as a teacher and why?
The word that best describes me as a teacher would be devoted. I am devoted to assuring that all students can show their talents and strengths, as well as making sure that no student is left behind in their learning in the health and physical education setting. If something doesn't work out, I am devoted to the profession to continue my own learning on how to make lessons more engaging and effective.

What do you love most about teaching?
The students. I love challenging myself to keep them engaged so behavior issues are down.
What is the best way to describe your classroom on a typical day?
Organized chaos, in the best way. Everyone doing what they should be doing, but also enjoying being in the environment.
